Driving License Conversion for Trucks and Tractors Under New Regulations
Driving licenses issued before the effective date of the Law remain valid until their expiration. However, if you need to renew or reissue a driving license for trucks and tractors (or other vehicle types), please note the following conversion regulations:
Motorcycle License Conversion
- Class A1 driving licenses will be converted to Class A (motorcycles with cylinder capacity under 175cm3 or power under 14kW).
- Class A2 driving licenses will be converted to Class A.
- Class A3 driving licenses will be converted to Class B1.
- Class A4 driving licenses will be converted to a tractor operator certificate for tractors up to 1,000kg, along with a certificate of road traffic law knowledge.
Car and Specialized Vehicle License Conversion
- Class B1 automatic transmission driving licenses will be converted to Class B (authorized to drive automatic transmission cars only).
- Class B1, B2 driving licenses will be converted to Class B or C1 and a tractor operator certificate for tractors up to 3,500kg.
