On the late afternoon of November 22nd, a particularly serious traffic accident occurred in Binh Duong, tragically taking the lives of a married couple. According to initial information from Ben Cat City Police, the tragic accident happened at approximately 4:30 PM. Mr. D.V.H (52 years old, residing in Tan Binh town, Bac Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong) was driving a motorbike with his wife as a passenger on DT741 road, heading from Bac Tan Uyen to Thu Dau Mot city. When they reached the section of road in Chanh Phu Hoa ward, Ben Cat city, their motorbike suddenly skidded and fell onto the road.
Unfortunately, the wife was thrown off the bike and landed in the car lane. At that moment, a truck traveling in the same direction from behind could not react in time and fatally struck the wife on the spot. Mr. D.V.H was seriously injured in this truck accident that killed the couple, and was quickly taken to the hospital by ambulance for emergency treatment. However, due to his critical condition, the husband also passed away at the hospital.
Immediately after receiving the report about the truck accident killing the couple, Ben Cat City Police quickly arrived at the scene to conduct an examination, collect evidence, and investigate the cause of the accident. The scene of the accident showed that the entire motorbike and the victims were in the car lane. This truck accident that killed the couple not only caused pain to the victims’ family but also shocked the public, especially since, just two evenings prior, on November 20th, also on DT741 road, in Hoa Loi ward, Ben Cat city (adjacent to Chanh Phu Hoa ward), a similar traffic accident occurred involving a passenger car and a motorbike, resulting in one death and one injury.
This tragic truck accident killing the couple in Binh Duong once again sounds an alarm about the traffic safety situation on DT741 road, especially in the area passing through Ben Cat city. Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident, while also strengthening measures to ensure traffic order and safety on this route, aiming to minimize similar tragic accidents from happening in the future.
