At approximately 9:30 AM on February 7th, a serious truck accident occurred on National Highway 1, passing through Phu Binh 2 village, Cam Tan commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province. This truck accident resulted in one fatality at the scene.
According to information from the Cam Lam District Police, a refrigerated truck with license plate 36C – 39…, driven by Mr. P.V.S. (born in 1990, residing in Quang Ngoc commune, Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province), was traveling on National Highway 1 in the North-South direction. Upon reaching Phu Binh 2 village, the truck suddenly collided with a rigid median barrier. The strong impact caused the truck accident to overturn, blocking National Highway 1.
As a result, the truck accident caused severe damage to the vehicle, and the driver sustained serious injuries. The co-driver (unidentified) died at the scene.
The truck accident caused major traffic congestion on National Highway 1. Cam Lam District Police quickly arrived at the scene to secure the area, direct traffic, and assist in taking the victims to the hospital.
