A serious traffic accident occurred in Quang Ninh on November 17th when a truck, experiencing brake failure, collided with a parked car and then crashed into a house, causing partial collapse. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Out-of-Control Truck Causes Chain Reaction Accident
The accident happened around late afternoon on November 17th at Km 82+800 on National Highway 18, passing through Trung Vuong Ward, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province. According to initial information, the truck with license plate 28C – 073.45, driven by Dang Van H. (born in 1990, residing in Song Khoai Commune, Quang Yen Town), was traveling from Dong Trieu towards Uong Bi.

Upon reaching the above road section, the truck suddenly lost control while trying to avoid a motorcycle turning. The first collision occurred with car license plate 14A – 078.85, driven by Dao Ngoc T. (born in 1988, residing in Uong Bi City), parked on the sidewalk on the right.
Not stopping there, the truck continued straight into the house of Dang Anh T. (born in 1971, residing in Trung Vuong Ward). The strong impact caused the house’s rolling door to break and part of the wall to collapse.
Fortunate Absence of Casualties
The chain-reaction accident caused heavy property damage, with two cars and Mr. T.’s house damaged. However, fortunately, no one was injured in this incident.

Authorities in Quang Ninh Province are urgently investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident. The possibility of brake failure is being considered as a primary cause of the incident.
