According to initial information, the truck with license plate 98C-002.17, driven by Dao Manh Ha (born in 1977, residing in Ngo Quyen ward, Bac Giang city), was traveling in the direction of Hanoi – Lang Son. At Km 103+150 on National Highway 1A, in the area of village 10, Huong Lac commune, Lang Giang district, the truck collided with a 5-seater car with license plate 98A-005.77.
Following the collision, the truck lost control, veered into the opposite lane, and crashed head-on into a motorcycle driven by two brothers, Nong Van Hung (born in 1994) and Nong The Van (born in 1996), both residing in Huong Thai commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son province. The strong impact caused both victims to die at the scene.
Truck Driver Detained, Vehicle’s Registration Expired
Functional forces were present promptly to handle the scene and investigate the cause of the accident. The driver, Dao Manh Ha, has been detained for investigation. Upon inspection, authorities discovered that the truck involved in the accident had its registration expired since November 27, 2016, and belongs to Phuc Thinh Construction and Trading Co., Ltd.
