On the afternoon of September 30th, around 3:00 PM, a severe traffic accident occurred on National Highway 2C, in the area of Tan Thanh commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province, involving a truck and a semi-truck. The forceful collision tragically claimed the life of a truck driver, causing shock and grief among local residents, the truck driving community traveling to Son Duong, Tuyen Quang, and surrounding areas.

According to initial reports, at the time of the accident, a semi-truck with license plate 15C-045.08 pulling trailer 15R-016.63, driven by Mr. Tang Tu Q (born 1986, residing in Kim Thanh, Hai Duong), was traveling in the direction of Tuyen Quang to Vinh Phuc. Upon reaching Tan Thanh commune, the semi-truck collided with a truck bearing license plate 21C-071.69, driven by Mr. Nguyen Van T (born 1983, residing in Vinh Son, Vinh Tuong, Vinh Phuc), which was moving in the opposite direction.
The truck accident in Son Duong, Tuyen Quang, resulted in a deeply tragic outcome. The truck driver, Nguyen Van T, died at the scene. At the scene, both vehicles sustained severe frontal damage, indicating the severity of the impact. Debris from the vehicles and oil spills were scattered across the road, disrupting traffic in the area.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Son Duong District Police quickly arrived at the scene to manage traffic flow, secure the site, and investigate the cause of the accident. Initial findings from authorities indicate that the accident occurred on National Highway 2C, a crucial artery connecting Tuyen Quang with neighboring provinces, which experiences significant traffic volume of trucks heading to Son Duong, Tuyen Quang, and other vehicles.
Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and clarify the exact cause of this tragic accident. This incident once again raises an alarm about traffic safety on national highways, particularly for heavy transport vehicles such as trucks and semi-trucks that frequently travel on routes like National Highway 2C through Son Duong, Tuyen Quang.
