On the early morning of November 26th, a serious traffic accident occurred on Provincial Highway 8 in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City, when a truck carrying poultry traveling in the wrong direction caused a multi-vehicle collision, dragging a couple riding a motorcycle under its wheels. The incident not only resulted in serious consequences for people and property but also disrupted traffic on this vital route.
Around 7 a.m., the truck with license plate 50H-131.72 was traveling on Provincial Highway 8 from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Duong. When it reached the section of road just past the entrance of the Dong Nam Industrial Park about 100m, belonging to Binh My commune, Cu Chi district, the truck suddenly lost control and crashed heavily into the iron median strip placed in the middle of the road.

The strong impact caused the median strip to break and fall, and the truck continued to rush into the opposite lane. Here, the truck directly collided with a Bac Lieu-plated motorcycle, driven by a young man, carrying a girl behind him.
The horrifying consequence was that the couple was dragged under the truck, dragged along a long stretch of road. People witnessing the accident quickly approached the scene, pulled the two victims out from under the truck and urgently called for an ambulance. Both victims suffered severe multiple injuries and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment in critical condition.

At the scene, the truck lay across Provincial Highway 8, causing serious traffic jams in both directions. The motorcycle was crushed completely by the truck, lying under the front wheels of the truck. The accident paralyzed traffic on Provincial Highway 8 for several hours.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Northwest Traffic Police Team and the Binh My Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic, divert vehicles, and conduct scene examination and investigation into the cause of this serious wrong-way truck accident.
