Dangers from Makeshift and Three-Wheeled Vehicles

This traffic accident once again highlights the safety concerns surrounding makeshift vehicles, three-wheeled vehicles, and rudimentary vehicles participating in traffic. These types of vehicles often have simple structures and do not meet technical standards, yet they are commonly used to transport goods due to their compact size, ease of movement in narrow alleys, and low transportation costs.

Carrying bulky and oversized cargo like steel on these vehicles poses a very high risk of traffic accidents. Many collisions and tragic accidents have occurred involving this type of vehicle.

Need for Tighter Management of Makeshift Vehicles

Stricter management measures are needed for the production, use, and circulation of makeshift vehicles and three-wheeled vehicles to ensure traffic safety and avoid unfortunate accidents. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen public awareness and education about complying with traffic laws and not using unsafe vehicles to transport goods.
