2020 Mitsubishi Triton Review: Bold and Modern Pickup

The Mitsubishi Triton has established itself in the pickup truck segment. However, the emergence of the 5th and 6th generation Ford Ranger has created significant competitive pressure. The 2020 Triton pickup comes with many improvements, geared towards urban friendliness, and promises to be a formidable competitor.

The 2020 Triton pickup has been comprehensively upgraded with 7 versions, launched at the Mitsubishi Festival event. Compared to the Ford Ranger (616 – 918 million VND), the Triton 2020 has a more competitive price. Other competitors such as Toyota Hilux, Chevrolet Colorado, Nissan Navara, Isuzu MU-X, Mazda BT-50 also have similar or higher prices.

The front of the car stands out with the second-generation Dynamic Shield design, creating a rugged and powerful look. Large chrome-plated X-shaped details and large air intakes further enhance the majestic appearance. The chrome-plated grille has been refined, harmoniously connecting with the projector headlights with modern lighting. Depending on the version, the 2020 Triton pickup is equipped with halogen or LED headlights.

The LED headlight version integrates LED daytime running lights, automatic on/off, increasing convenience and safety. The two highest-end versions also have automatic headlights/headlights and standard fog lights.
