Truck Restrictions on Key Roads Starting August 1st

From January 18, 2017, a ban on heavy trucks and buses with over 40 seats has been implemented on certain city roads to reduce traffic accidents. Specifically, the ban is enforced on Cach Mang Thang Tam and Tran Hung Dao streets during peak hours.

Truck Ban by Weight and Route

The truck ban is categorized by weight and specific routes as follows:

Truck Ban Timings

The truck ban is applied during 3 peak hours daily:

  • Morning: From 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM
  • Noon: From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Afternoon: From 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
