Which Trucks Are Required to Have Emblems?

Regulations on Emblem Display for Trucks
Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP details the roadmap for emblem affixation for commercial transport vehicles. Accordingly, all freight transport vehicles with a designed tonnage of over 3.5 tons are required to display emblems.
Penalties for Trucks Without Emblems

Article 24 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP stipulates a fine ranging from 3,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND for drivers of trucks that do not have or display emblems as prescribed; have emblems but they have expired; or use emblems not issued by a competent authority.

Article 30 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP stipulates a fine ranging from 4,000,000 VND to 6,000,000 VND for individuals; and from 8,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND for organizations that own trucks and fail to affix emblems to their vehicles.
