In the early morning of September 15th, the police of Ben Cat town, Binh Duong province, successfully dismantled a group of individuals gathering for illegal racing, using a truck to transport modified cars to the racing location. This incident raises a warning bell about the situation of “trucking daredevils” and the dangerous consequences it brings to society.
The incident began when the police of Hoa Loi ward discovered a convoy of motorbikes moving at high speed from Thu Dau Mot city to Ben Cat town. Realizing the unusual signs, the police force coordinated to implement a plan to prevent them. At about 3:40 am on the same day, at N14 street, Hoa Loi ward, the authorities rushed to inspect the group of young people preparing to race.
Group of racers gathered and used a truck to transport modified cars, temporarily seized by Ben Cat police
When the police were detected, the “racers” quickly fled in disarray. However, the authorities promptly controlled and detained 8 subjects, along with 5 motorbikes and a truck. Notably, the truck was also carrying 3 “tuned” motorbikes without registration papers.
At the police station, the subjects confessed that they were all from Binh Phuoc province, and they invited each other to rent a truck to transport “modified cars” to Binh Duong to organize illegal racing. This behavior not only violates the law and causes traffic disorder but also poses a risk of serious traffic accidents.
This “trucking daredevils” case is being further investigated by the Ben Cat Town Police to be handled strictly according to the provisions of the law. This is a strong warning to those who intend to participate in or organize illegal racing, especially the act of using trucks for illegal activities, causing danger to the community.
