According to an eyewitness, the assaulting group was very aggressive, with about 4-5 people taking turns hitting the assistant, even using sticks to attack. People around did not dare to intervene because the group was too violent. Only when people helped the assistant into a house did the group leave.
The heavily injured truck assistant was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Xuan Thoi Thuong Commune Police and Hoc Mon District Police are urgently investigating and searching for those involved to handle them according to the law.
According to initial information, the truck driver said that while moving, he swerved to avoid a motorcyclist rushing out of an alley. This action made the group of motorcyclists believe that the driver was driving recklessly, leading to an argument and then the attack.
The incident of the truck assistant being assaulted in Hoc Mon once again raises an alarm about the increasingly complex situation of traffic violence. Stronger measures are needed to prevent and severely punish violations of the law, ensuring safety for road users.
