Penalties for Trucks Without Placards
For Drivers:
According to Article 24 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP, drivers operating a truck without a placard or with an expired placard will be fined from 3,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND. Additionally, the driver’s driver’s license will be suspended for 01 to 03 months.
For Vehicle Owners:
Article 30 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP stipulates the penalties for vehicle owners who allow unqualified individuals to drive or directly drive trucks without placards, as follows:
- Individuals: A fine ranging from 4,000,000 VND to 6,000,000 VND.
- Organizations: A fine ranging from 8,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND.
