At approximately 5:30 AM on December 17, 2022, at Km 613+750, passing through Tu Loan village, Quang Hung commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province, a serious traffic accident occurred between two trucks. Specifically, the refrigerated truck with license plate 50H-052.96, driven by Nguyen Van Hien, traveling in the North-South direction, collided head-on with the truck with license plate 89-017.43, driven by a driver named Khang (address unknown) traveling in the opposite direction.

Serious Consequences and Prolonged Traffic Congestion
The strong impact caused severe damage to both vehicles. Truck 89-017.43 crashed into the roadside, fortunately, the driver and assistant driver only suffered minor injuries. However, the refrigerated truck 50H-052.96 had its front completely deformed, the driver suffered a broken leg and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The accident caused the refrigerated truck to occupy almost the entire lane of one direction. As a result, Highway 1A through Tu Loan village, Quang Hung commune, Quang Trach district was blocked in one direction for many hours.
