Recently, a traffic incident involving bus number 56, route Cho Lon Bus Station – Mien Dong New Bus Station, was recorded in the Rach Chiec bridge area, Thu Duc City. The bus, license plate 51B – 266.84, managed by Quyết Thắng Bus Transport Cooperative, collided with a container truck while traveling in the same direction on Hanoi Highway.
Immediately after receiving information, the Public Transport Management Center sent a document requesting Quyết Thắng Bus Transport Cooperative to clarify the matter. Responding promptly, Quyết Thắng Bus Transport Cooperative reported the incident in detail and issued a decision to discipline the driver and related staff.
According to the report from Quyết Thắng Bus Transport Cooperative, the initial cause was determined to be the bus accelerating to overtake the container truck in the Rach Chiec bridge area. However, an unexpected incident occurred when the bus’s rear tire exploded, leading to loss of control and collision with the container truck.
To demonstrate seriousness in ensuring traffic safety, Quyết Thắng Bus Transport Cooperative suspended driver Nguyen Van Vu for 7 days, from May 6 to May 12, 2022, to clarify and resolve the incident.

In addition, the Public Transport Management Center also sent a document to the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, requesting support in handling this violation, to ensure strictness and deterrence against traffic safety violations in public passenger transport activities.
