A tragic traffic accident between a truck and a motorcycle occurred late on October 1st in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, resulting in the immediate death of a young woman. Binh Thanh District police are investigating the cause.

At approximately 10 PM on October 1st, a truck with license plate 50H-091.37 was traveling on Bach Dang Street, heading from Phan Dang Luu towards Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street. Upon reaching the intersection of Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street (Ward 15, Binh Thanh District), the driver made a right turn towards Hang Xanh intersection. While turning, the truck collided with a motorcycle with license plate 63P1-616.91, driven by a young woman, whose direction of travel is currently unknown.
The strong impact caused the young woman and her motorcycle to fall onto the road. The victim was run over by the truck’s wheels and died instantly. Images from the scene show the motorcycle behind the truck’s rear, with the victim’s body trapped under the truck’s wheels, a heartbreaking sight.
Upon receiving the report, the Binh Thanh District Police and the Hang Xanh Traffic Police Team arrived to direct traffic, examine the scene, and investigate the cause of the accident between the truck and the motorcycle that resulted in the young woman’s death. The incident once again serves as a warning about the dangers of participating in traffic, especially at complex intersections.
