Fatal traffic accident scene in Dong Nai
On the afternoon of August 28th, a tragic traffic accident occurred on National Highway 51, near the Vina gas station in Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. A motorcyclist died after being run over by a truck. A truck accident clip from a dashcam of a vehicle behind captured the entire incident.
According to initial reports, earlier that day, in rainy conditions, a truck was traveling on National Highway 51 from Long Thanh district towards Bien Hoa city. When the truck reached the gate of the Phuoc Tan ward People’s Committee headquarters, the driver signaled to turn right into the Vina gas station. At this moment, the truck collided with a motorcyclist traveling in the same direction.
The collision caused the victim and the motorcycle to fall under the truck. The truck accident clip shows that the driver stopped the truck for about 5 seconds after realizing the collision. However, instead of getting out to check, the driver continued to drive over the victim before driving into the gas station and stopping. The victim died at the scene.
