According to point b, clause 4, Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (amended by Decree 123/2021/ND-CP), the fine for driving into a restricted zone for trucks ranges from 2,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND. This fine applies to cases where drivers enter a prohibited area or a road with signs prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle they are operating.

In addition to the fine, drivers of violating trucks will also have their driver’s license revoked for 01 to 03 months.

Note: The above fines do not apply to priority vehicles on emergency duty as prescribed, vehicles driving in the opposite direction on a one-way street, highways, or reversing on highways.

This sign prohibits all types of vehicles carrying dangerous goods from entering the specified road section.

Sign P.107 “No Passenger Cars and Trucks”

This sign prohibits both passenger cars and trucks, including tractors and specialized vehicles, except for priority vehicles.
