A serious traffic accident occurred late on November 19th on the HCMC-Dau Giay Expressway when a BMW unexpectedly crashed into a truck, resulting in the immediate death of the BMW driver. Authorities are investigating the BMW truck crash on the HCMC-Dau Giay Expressway to determine the cause.
At approximately 9:45 PM, a BMW with license plate 79A-159.33, driven by Dao Thanh Liem (born in 1988, residing in Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City), was traveling on the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway, heading from National Highway 51 towards Mai Chi Tho. After passing the Long Phuoc toll station in Long Phuoc Ward, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, just a few hundred meters away, the car collided heavily with the rear of a truck with license plate 71C-037.44, which was traveling in the same direction ahead.

The strong impact pushed the truck forward, while the BMW was wedged tightly into the rear of the truck, its front end completely deformed. Witnesses to the BMW truck collision quickly approached the scene and found driver Liem dead inside the vehicle.
Immediately after receiving the report, the expressway management unit and District 9 Police quickly arrived to coordinate the handling of the BMW truck accident scene, regulate and divert traffic, and prevent congestion on the HCMC-Dau Giay Expressway.
