On November 18th at approximately 5 PM, an 11-year-old girl in Cao Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An province, tragically died after being struck by a truck on her way home from school. This heartbreaking incident once again raises serious concerns about traffic safety for children, especially when traveling on busy roads.
After the school bus stopped along the Ho Chi Minh Road, the 11-year-old girl unexpectedly ran across the street to get home without carefully looking. A truck traveling in the same direction from behind was unable to react in time and collided with her.
This tragic moment was captured by a security camera. The video shows the girl running quickly across the road and being hit directly by the truck.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of Cao Son commune, the school bus was contracted by parents of students at Cao Son Kindergarten with a local resident.

The incident is currently under investigation by authorities to determine the cause.
The girl’s passing is a great loss for her family and leaves behind grief for the community. This accident once again emphasizes the importance of educating children about traffic awareness from a young age, as well as the need for adults to pay special attention when participating in traffic, especially in areas with many children. The event also raises questions about the responsibility of the school bus driver and ensuring the safety of children on their way to and from school.
