A serious traffic accident occurred on the afternoon of September 24th in Đắk Lắk when a 12th-grade male student crossing National Highway 27 was fatally struck by a truck. This incident once again raises a warning about the dangers of crossing roads, especially concerning trucks with large blind spots.

According to information from Giao Thong Newspaper, at approximately 3:25 PM on September 24th, at Km 16+570 of National Highway 27, passing through Ea Bhốk commune, Cư Kuin district, Đắk Lắk province, V.M.Tr (born 2007), a 12th-grade student at Y Jút High School, and a male friend were walking across the road.

Upon reaching the middle of the road, they encountered a car traveling from Buon Ma Thuot City towards Cư Kuin. Tr stepped back to avoid the car and was unexpectedly struck directly by a truck with license plate 51D-432.81, driven by Đinh Quang Huy (born 1999, residing in Đắk Glei district, Kon Tum province) traveling in the opposite direction.

The forceful impact resulted in Tr’s immediate death at the scene. At the scene, the truck’s front end was damaged, and the victim’s body lay nearby.
