According to the issued permit, the Lac Long Quan truck parking lot is only allowed to park bicycles and motorbikes within an area of over 53m2 at 655 Lac Long Quan. However, the company arbitrarily expanded the parking lot to hundreds of m2, including the sidewalk area and the intersection of Lane 655 Lac Long Quan – Vo Chi Cong, to park cars.

Temporary permit No. 14/UBND-QLĐT issued by the Tay Ho District People’s Committee on March 15, 2024, allows the company to use 2 areas on the sidewalk of Lane 655 Lac Long Quan to park bicycles and motorbikes. Area 1, opposite the Vo Chi Cong inter-agency area, has an area of over 35m2. However, the parking lot owner has encroached on the entire sidewalk, forcing pedestrians to move onto the road, causing traffic unsafety.

Handling Violations at the Lac Long Quan Parking Lot
After receiving feedback, the Tay Ho District Police requested functional forces to inspect and verify. Xuan La Ward Police have made a record of handling administrative violations of 10 million VND against the company for parking vehicles beyond the licensed area.
