Truck overturned on the highway after an accident
The charity truck carrying relief goods overturned after a collision.
At 6:05 AM on October 23, 2020, on the Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway (Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province), a collision between two trucks traveling in the same direction occurred. As a result, a truck carrying relief goods overturned, and the driver was injured.
Unfortunate Accident Involving Charity Truck
According to information from the expressway management unit, truck with license plate 72C-150.20 and truck with license plate 47-162.26 were traveling in the same direction. When they reached the location, the two trucks collided, causing truck 47C to overturn, and the driver sustained head and arm injuries. Truck 72C sustained only minor damage.

The injured driver of the charity truck is being transported for medical assistance.
Reportedly, truck 47C was transporting relief goods from Dak Lak to Central Vietnam. The truck displayed the words “Central Vietnam Relief Delegation” (village 8 – village 10, Krong Buk commune, Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province). The goods on the truck mainly consisted of candy, soft drinks, and banh tet (cylindrical glutinous rice cake).

After the accident, the driver of truck 47C was taken to Da Nang Hospital for emergency treatment by another charity group. Other charity groups assisted in unloading goods from the overturned truck onto another truck to continue the relief journey to Central Vietnam, ensuring that goods promptly reached people in flood-affected areas. The spirit of mutual support and affection of the Vietnamese people was once again clearly demonstrated through this event.
