Since June 2024, in addition to studying 600 traffic law theory questions, learners taking driving tests must also practice on simulation software. To help you familiarize yourself with this content, this article will provide detailed instructions on how to download the latest version 2.1.0 (January 6, 2025) of the 120 traffic situation simulation software to your computer. This software is developed by the Vietnam Road Administration, supporting users to review and get acquainted with the driving test.

Note: This article provides detailed installation instructions in 5 steps. Please read carefully and follow all steps to install successfully.
Step 1: Download Simulation Software Version 2.0 to Your Computer
Important: Simulation software 2.1 only runs on Windows operating systems. Computers using other operating systems (e.g., macOS) cannot install it. You can practice online here if you are not using Windows. Before downloading version 2.1, you need to install version 2.0 first.
To download the correct version for your computer, check which Windows version you are using (32-bit or 64-bit) here.
Download simulation software version 2.0 from one of the following links. The解压缩 password (if any): mophonggiaothong2024.
Step 2: Extract and Install Simulation Software Version 2.0
After downloading, extract the file using WinRAR software. Right-click on the file, select “Extract Files”, enter the解压缩 password, and wait for the process to complete. Then, run the “Setup.exe” file and click “Next” to begin the installation.
Note: Do not name the installation folder in Vietnamese to avoid errors.
During the installation process, the software will require you to install “Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable” and “K-Lite Codec Pack”. Choose to install both of these software and click “Next”.

Select “I Agree” and click “Install” to install “Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable”. Continue installing “K-Lite Codec Pack” with the default settings. Finally, complete the installation of the simulation software by clicking “Next” and “Install”.
Step 3: Update to Simulation Software Version 2.1.0
After installing version 2.0, you may encounter a “License expired” error. To fix this, update to version 2.1.0.
Download the 2.1.0 update file here and select the version appropriate for your operating system (32-bit or 64-bit).
Extract and copy 2 files: “lc4” and “OnTapMoPhong.exe” to the simulation software installation folder (usually C:Program FilesDRVNOnTapMoPhong for 64-bit versions or C:Program Files (x86)DRVNOnTapMoPhong for 32-bit versions). Select “Replace the files in the destination” when prompted.

Step 4: Update Video Player (If Necessary)
If the situation videos do not play and only show a black screen, update your “K-Lite Codec Pack” video player by downloading the latest version here and installing it.
Step 5: Instructions for Using the Simulation Software
The software has two modes: Practice and Mock Exam. In Practice mode, you can select individual situations to practice. In Mock Exam mode, you will take a test with 10 consecutive situations. Use the spacebar on your keyboard to react to situations. Test results will be displayed after completing 10 situations. A score of 35 or higher is passing.
