Cause of the Truck Driver’s Murder
On the afternoon of December 15th, Hoang Anh was being driven by a friend in a pickup truck through Dong Xoai. Near Ta Be hill, Hoang Anh believed that Mr. Cuong’s truck had “cut them off”, causing minor injuries to his friend.
At an intersection in Dong Xoai City, upon seeing Mr. Cuong’s truck stop at a red light, Hoang Anh got out of his vehicle and repeatedly assaulted the driver. Despite being stopped by his companion, the 35-year-old man continued to climb into the truck cabin and attack the driver, leading to the victim’s tragic death.

Dong Xoai City Police issued a detention order for Hoang Anh on December 17th after a day of working with the suspect, truck driver Nguyen Van Cuong, and several witnesses.
