Nissan Philippines has officially unveiled the limited-edition variant of the Navara pickup truck, named Calibre-X, at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The Calibre-X version is developed based on the Pro-4X trim but features a 4×2 drivetrain, offering a fresh option for customers who admire the robust look of the Pro-4X but prefer a two-wheel-drive system. It is priced starting from 1.526 million pesos (approximately 679 million VND) and is available in three distinctive exterior colors: Fiery Red, Galaxy Black, and Aspen Pearl White.
Regarding the exterior, the Nissan Navara Calibre-X shares many design cues with the Pro-4X 4×4 version, showcasing a strong and distinctive personality. However, to differentiate itself, the Calibre-X version has removed chrome-plated trims on the grille, side mirrors, door handles, roof rails, and Nissan logo, resulting in a more minimalist and sporty appearance.
This limited-edition pickup truck retains the striking orange accents on the fender flares, skid plate, and vehicle badging, creating a unique and eye-catching appeal. The Nissan Navara Calibre-X is equipped with standard Zero Gravity Seats and a leather-trimmed interior similar to the Pro-4X version, ensuring comfort and convenience for users.
The convenience features on the Nissan Navara Calibre-X include an 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, along with Bluetooth, USB, and iPod connectivity, fully meeting the entertainment and connectivity needs of modern users.
In terms of performance, the Calibre-X pickup truck version is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged diesel engine, producing 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. Paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, the vehicle delivers powerful and agile performance across various terrains.
The limited Calibre-X version also comes equipped with Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, along with advanced safety technologies such as: 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display, Driver Attention Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, 360-degree Around View Monitor, and Moving Object Detection.
Furthermore, the Nissan Navara Calibre-X is equipped with other safety features such as 6 airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), speed-sensing door locks, and ISOFIX child seat anchors, ensuring maximum safety for passengers on every journey.
