A serious traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Hai Ba Trung and Ngo Quyen streets in Hanoi on the first night of Tet, January 28, 2017. Simultaneously, a white Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck was traveling along Ngo Quyen street. A forceful collision between the motorbike and the pickup truck was inevitable.
The impact resulted in all three motorbike riders being thrown onto the road. One individual died at the scene due to severe head trauma, with significant bleeding.
The other two sustained serious injuries; one suffered a broken leg, and the other sustained facial injuries. Both injured victims were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for emergency care by local residents.
At the scene, the Yamaha Exciter motorbike was severely damaged, with numerous parts shattered. The Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck sustained significant dents and damage to its left side. Despite the late hour, the accident attracted considerable attention from surrounding onlookers.
